After several years of serving in bi-vocational ministry while maintaining a career as a public school teacher, Keith surrendered to God’s call on his life to become a full-time minister in January 2005, and was ordained in July 2005. His heart’s desire is to encourage all within the body of Christ regardless of age, to experience, worship, serve and share Christ.  Keith, his wife Christy and his two daughters, Emily and Lindsay are excited about the ministry opportunities at First.

Keith has served two churches as Children’s Pastor: Celebration Church, Danville, KY and Bethesda Northside Baptist Church, Baker, LA.  He has also served two churches as Youth Pastor: Green Meadows Baptist Church, Mocksville, NC and Lexie Baptist Church, Tylertown, MS.  Keith received a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Education with a minor in Social studies from Louisiana State University.
